ACCIDENT INSURANCE

In accordance with Catalan legislation, accident insurance is mandatory to participate in a competition. Those who do not have accident insurance may purchase a temporary policy specifically for the World Rowing Masters Regatta, offered by the organizing committee.

Coverage
According to Royal Decree 849/1993, of June 4:

• Unlimited medical and surgical care, for up to 18 months.

• Unlimited transfer or evacuation expenses to the designated medical center.

• Orthopedic material expenses covered up to 70%.

• Unlimited rehabilitation treatments, up to a maximum of 18 months.

• Compensation for total or partial disability due to a sports accident, up to €12,025.

• Compensation for death resulting from a sports accident, up to €6,015.

WORLD ROWING MASTERS MEMBERSHIP

To participate in the World Rowing Masters Regatta, athletes must register for the World Rowing Masters Membership. This platform verifies all licensed members and provides them with a dedicated page. Athletes can choose between Silver and Gold Memberships, each offering a different range of features.

Although coxswains do not have to pay an entry fee to compete, they are required to have a World Rowing membership in order to participate in the event.
